Roulette rules

Roulette is an entertaining and profitable casino game that is very easy to pick up.Roulette is a casino game named after a French diminutive for “little wheel”. In the game, players may choose to place bets on either a single number or a range of numbers, the colors red or black, or whether the number is odd or even.

The wheel contains either 37 or 36 numbered slots, a zero (0), and occasionally double zero (00) only available on American wheels. Some numbers are red and other numbers are black without thought to sequence. Zero and double zero sections are green. An online roulette table typically accommodates six to eight players at once.
The roulette table usually imposes minimum and maximum bets, and these rules usually apply separately for all of a player’s ‘inside’ and ‘outside’ bets for each spin.
The roulette main rule is simple: players bet against the casino by placing wagers on number and color combinations that appear on a wheel. To determine the winning number and color, a croupier spins a wheel in one direction, then spins a ball in the opposite direction around a tilted circular track running around the circumference of the wheel. When the ball rests in one of the wheel’s pockets, the croupier announces the winning number and reconciles all roulette bets.

Players place roulette bets on the table prior to each spin. Several moments after the croupier begins the spin, the ball will start to fall. At this time, he will announce, “no more bets” and will pass his hand over the table.

Following the announcement, players cannot place new bets and the bets on the table cannot be altered in any way.

When a winning number and color is determined by the roulette wheel, the dealer will place a marker also known as a dolly on that winning number on the roulette table layout. The dealer will then sweep away all other losing bets either by hand or rake, and determine all of the payouts to the remaining inside and outside winning bets.
